  • Replacement Skegs are made to replace skegs on outboard and Inboard/Outboard drive units that have been broken off or damaged so full protection of the prop can be maintained during boating.
  • Skeg Replacements cost only a fraction of the entire gear case replacement and are shaped to within 1/2″ of the torpedo section of the housing. This allows room to grind and fit the replacement skeg to the original, without warpage to the housing if proper welding techniques are used.
  • A measurement to determine proper skeg replacement needed, is taken 1/2″ below the torpedo section of the gear housing.
