Product Description:
Each Tohatsu Outboard Extension Kit includes a 5″ housing, stub driveshaft, water tube, shift shaft, and all the studs, nuts, etc. that are needed to make the outboard motor conversion.

Tohatsu Extension Kits include stainless steel shafts and studs, and spacer housings are cast of the same series alloy as used in the motors for lifetime performance.

1. Returns and Refunds:

We offer a 60-day return policy for all purchases. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unused and undamaged item(s) within 60 days from the date of delivery for a refund, subject to the terms outlined below.

2. Restocking Fee:

A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all returned items. This fee is waived if the return is due to an error on our part, such as shipping the wrong parts.

3. Return Shipping:

Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. However, if the return is due to an error on our part, such as shipping the wrong parts, we will cover the return shipping costs.

4. Condition of Returned Items:

Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, and undamaged. We reserve the right to refuse returns if the items show signs of use or damage.

5. How to Initiate a Return:

6. Refund Process:

    The instructions could be a little more detailed as far as what order to install the parts. I had the lower unit splines all lined up and had to take the lower unit back out to detach the shift shaft extension because it doesnt fit through the hole that it is supposed to go through if the cotter pin is installed.

    Also, the diameter of the shift shaft extension (top of the shaft extension where it inserts into the factory coupling) was too large and had to be filed down in order to be inserted into the coupler with the roll pin.
